On this boat we retrofitted a retractable spinnaker pole similar to those found on many of the newer "go fast" one designs. The external tube and carbon fiber pole were provided by Doyle sails. After that, we did the rest, cutting away a section of the topsides, fiberglassing in the tube, fairing and then repainting the topside Awlgrip. This installation not only looks like it came out of the factory but the action of the pole works extremely well too.
