1954 Chris Craft Holiday – Rescuing a Classic Runabout
The owner found this 1954 Chris Craft Holiday runabout partially disassembled and in terrible condition, but with her hardware still intact. We were asked to completely restore the boat, including replacement of the old double-planked bottom with a West System marine plywood bottom, and complete refurbishing of the topside and deck planking, stained to the original factory color, and finished with 12 coats of varnish. Of course we replaced all the upholstery, and re-chromed all of the hardware. Look at her now!
