Varlet was found by her current owner for sale on Naushon Island, Mass. She is a 30′ launch built in 1930 for Mr. R.E. Forbes, by George Lawley & Sons. The Forbes family owned Naushon Island and Varlet was used for excursions around the Island and for transport to nearby Woods Hole. Although she was found in serviceable condition she was in need of both structural and cosmetic upgrades. She is a very unique and handsome vessel and it’s fun to see her underway.
